Ok, so as promised I’m changing it up and sharing some spring fashion tips that will help you survive the season, and look your best.
Firstly, this is my second attempt at this blog post as WordPress thought it would be a great idea to delete my other one just before posting it. Ugh
Funny story… I was researching a bit on this to back up all my thoughts and came across this absolutely hilarious article by an unknown that basically asks women to immediately stop wearing these trends that this unknown talks about. It is honestly funny, due to it being 90% of the things every girl is wearing right now.
It’s worth a read! Or a laugh either one…
Anyway, just clarifying also for my readers that no copyright is intended for any of the images used in the following post. I will try to link the photo to the source as much as I can.

Spring is an important season, as it is a time for designers to showcase what they think is going to take off and be on trend for the next few months and will be a part of influencing the style across summer too. Which is why we have the Spring/Summer collections.

As an important note * work your way into the different seasonal colours.
What I mean by this is above you will see an image of the Alexander McQueen SS15 collection. McQueen incorporates the leather from winter with the florals of spring into one piece. This is a smart trendy idea when picking an outfit and changes whether it is early spring or later in the season.
Some looks that aren’t so bizarre but use the same concept involve looks that incorporate hard and soft materials like
* denim/leather
* tulle/ chiffon

Now don’t be fooled, soft elements can be created by colour. Not just fabric. Keep in mind soft pastel pinks, mint, gold and a classic white. All can be teamed with hard pieces (denim, leather). As spring goes on start incorporating pops of brighter colours, as it will start carrying over into summer.

All in all I feel as if this spring is a combination of gypsy boho meets 70’s chic. The 70’s are back, and they’re bringing there patterns, hem lines, colour palette, overalls and tassels with them. That’s right overalls and tassels are BACK!

Stop in to your local op shop to find some of the classics. And girl if you can rock them old street style overalls, girl you do you. Girl you hot, one hunned!
If not or you want to spice up your closet with some new pieces head over to ASOS and they will deffs hook you up.

If you’re looking out for some tassel clothing, most of the pieces at the moment are from Princess Polly Boutique and Ally)
Girlllll…. flats are on the rise again, for sure! Don’t stress out if you can’t rock a 6″, flats are back!
Flats have been seen all over the runway this season, which is also sporting a sporty chic meets office sleek vibe.
Two piece suits are still very popular but if you don’t think you can pull it off, try something more tailored like …

Spring is all about that glowy skin. Invest in a good highlighter like this one here. Don’t use very dark colours on either the lip or eyes, for spring. Try peach and coral tones with a hint of shimmer to add to that duey, supple skin.
Lip balm and BB Cream are your best friends. Learn it, live it, love it.
And so is H20- staying hydrated, hydrates your skin and enables it to shine from the inside out.
So lighten up your colours and pick up a water bottle.

Regarding hair… Go short, be bold, go lighter! Spring and summer are too stinking hot to worry about hair. Lol honestly, hair grows back. What could you lose?
I hope I have inspired you to step out of your comfort zone and truly be yourself this spring.
Love from mine to yours
