Ok lets a get into today’s post…

The RULE of 3

The rule of three is a very basic but powerful tool. When used correctly, It turns any outfit into a masterpiece, and makes you look like you have thoroughly planned out your outfits days in advance.
You look put together!

So basically what you want to do is piece your basics like a shirt and pants with a third item (excluding shoes…. and underwear, unless you’re trying to get FREAKAY). Now before this runs away with you I will post photos to make this easier.

Ok, so as a rule of three, the jacket is the third outfit item (as per the above photo) that helps to pull the outfit together, or give it a different Vibe!

Now… don’t get this twisted! Sometimes, less is more. Buttttt…. sometimes more is best. It’s about getting your look on fleek and knowing when to apply the rule, or in what way to apply it.

The third item can be anything from:
A statement piece of jewellery

Now, people may disagree but I believe a hat, sits between two categories. It is, and can be a statement third piece, or it can be a complimentary forth piece.
The choice is yours, but, I’ll show you the difference.

It’s all about complementing the outfit!
You may be thinking how the feck am I going to use this, especially if you are from Australia, like me.
Add something sleeveless or thin, when layering in an Aussie Summer.

A bag, or clutch

Now this doesn’t just go for women. Shout out to all them dapper men holding it down out there. Or the fobby socks and jandals kinda guys, hay whatever makes you happy right?

The rule of three applies to both genders! On all occasions.

So as you can see it may even be more important for men to get this right as they usually are the ones that don’t worry as much about the amount or type of accessory they need.
